The upgraded RSHTECH 3.5in SATA HDD Docking Station version 2.0 features quick installation within 5 minutes and supports both lay flat and vertical stand orientation. Boasting Plug&Play functionality, UASP support, and Automatic sleep mode, this docking station is compatible with 3.5 inch SATA I/II/III /HDD SSD up to 16 TB, including the newly released NAS hard drives on the market. Equipped with SMART function, it allows for easy monitoring of HDD or SSD status on the computer.

Constructed with an aluminum alloy body, the hard disk case is solid and stable. The ABS plastic bracket enables flexible orientation, allowing you to switch between lay flat and vertical positions. Featuring a light press to turn on and a long 3-second press to turn off, this design effectively protects the hard disk from accidental power-off. The docking station is hot-swappable, plug and play, and requires no drivers. The 12V/2A power adapter ensures a stable power supply.

To utilize the UASP speedup function, please first confirm if your computer supports the UASP Protocol. If the HDD is not recognized by the computer, it may be due to the hard drive not being initialized or formatted (if there is data on the hard drive, please back it up in advance). Additionally, there may be unallocated space on the hard drive.

The package includes the RSHTECH SATA Hard Drive Enclosure, a Bracket, a Power Adapter, a Screwdriver and Screws, a Super-Speed USB 3.0 Cable, and an Instruction Manual. Note that the 4 screws in the package consist of 2 short ones for fixing the HDD on the inner tray and 2 long ones for securing the enclosure. If installing a 2.5" hard drive, the screw holes may not align, and you can use tape to fix it in place.

To avoid data loss, please click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon on your PC before unplugging the device. Two LED indicators show power status (Red) and hard drive activity status (Blue).

The SATA interface of the USB 3.0 enclosure supports 6Gbps max transfer speed and UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol). To reach the UASP speedup function, please confirm if your computer supports the UASP Protocol first. For best transmission speed, connect the 3.5" hard drive enclosure to the USB 3.0 Port of the computer.

The docking station features an Automatic Sleep Function, entering sleep mode after 10 minutes of data access inactivity. The electronic power button, with a long 3-second press to turn it off, effectively protects your hard drive disk. Two LED indicators show power status (Red) and hard drive activity status (Blue).

The aluminum HDD case with vents in the bottom allows for better cooling performance, and you can dock the HDD enclosure in the ABS bracket vertically to further improve cooling.
